National Archaeology Week May 20-26 2018
National Archaeology Week aims to increase public awareness of Australian archaeology and the work of Australian archaeologists both at home and abroad, and to promote the importance of protecting Australia’s unique archaeological heritage. Beginning on the third Sunday in May every year, this exciting nationwide program of events and activities includes public lectures, seminars, exhibits, demonstration excavations and displays.

This year we bring back the popular ‘Meet the Archaeologist’ questionnaire! If you would like to take part please complete the online form and be sure and also submit an ‘interesting’ photo of yourself. Completed entries will be posted on the National Archaeology Website from next month.
