Photo Competition

CALL FOR ENTRIES

The AAA Executive invites members to submit their best photographs to the AAA Photo Competition. $500 has been made available for prize money. Entries must be displayed at the AAA Annual Conference. You don't have to be a registered conference delegate to enter. If you are not attending the conference, entries can be sent with colleagues or posted to the conference convenor. The winners will be announced at the AAA conference dinner. Note that all entries must be accompanied by an Entry Form and signed Entrant Agreement/s (see below).

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. The competition is open to all financial AAA members and may be terrestrial or underwater archaeological subject matter pertinent to specific categories.

2. All possible care of entries will be exercised, but no responsibility will be assumed by the AAA for the loss or damage of entries in exhibit or in transit.

3. An Entrant Agreement must accompany each entry. This can be downloaded here.

4. A maximum of four (4) photos are allowed per category.

5. Photo content must adhere to the AAA Code of Ethics.

 

PRINT CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Prints must be no less than 28cm x 35.5cm and no greater than 40.5cm x 51cm mounted size. NO SLIDES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

2. Prints should be mounted on foam core to facilitate judging and exhibition. No prints are to be framed.

3. Entrant/s name, address, category and entry title must appear on the back of each image. please indicate "UP". A printed display tag with print title, category and date of photo is also required.
