Warrari Stone Arrangements

The stone arrangements are located at Mining Area c.100km north of Newman in the Pilbara, WA. The sites consist of pieces of banded ironstone and chert embedded upright in the ground and arranged in abstract patterns. The stone arrangements first came to the attention of the mining industry in 1982 when Goldsworthy Mining exploration surveyors noted the sites.
